Are you hesitant to eat a plant-based diet because you have been told you can’t get enough protein without eating meat? Check out my short video presentation below on “The Protein Myth” to put your mind at ease. (Press play in the screen below.)

Not only is it possible to live without meat, it is the healthiest way to eat!

If you enjoyed this video, check out my blog post “But where do you get your protein?” for more information and informative videos!

Here is a list of foods with higher amount of protein just to ease your mind…

High Protein Foods:

~ Soy beans

~ Edamame beans

~ Lentils

~ Kidney beans

~ Chickpeas

~ Tempeh

~ Nutritional yeast

~ Hemp seeds

~ Peanut butter

~ Oatmeal

~ Almonds

~ Spinach

~ Broccoli

If you are eating enough calories and consuming plant-based foods, you will be getting plenty of protein. Not to worry! It is much more important to think about getting a sufficient amount of fibre. Fibre feeds your gut microbiome and your gut health is linked to your overall health. Think about that for a hot second. 😉
