Learning to live a Whole Food Plant Based life can be made much simpler by knowing which books to read to aid in your transition!

Here are a list of my favourites.   Of course the one that got me started was…

  1. The China Study, by T. Colin Campbell, PhD and Thomas M. Campbell, MD – This groundbreaking book examines the connection between nutrition and heart disease, diabetes, and cancer and the source of nutritional confusion produced by powerful lobbies, government entities, and opportunistic scientists.
  2. ProteinAholic , by Garth Davis, MD
  3. How Not to Die, by Michael Greger, MD
  4. Engine 2 Diet, The Texas Firefighter’s 28-Day Save-Your-Life Plan That Lowers Cholesterol and Burns Away the Pounds, by Rip Esselstyn
  5. Becoming Vegan, by Brenda Davis and Vesanto Melina.  This book ‘provides the detail you are looking for. It sets the standard on plant-based nutrition, with exhaustive analysis and full referencing’.
  6. The Beauty Detox Solution and The Beauty Detox Foods, by Kimberly Snyder.  These two books provide information on healthy ways to rid your body of toxins and glow from the inside out.
